Renfay Projects Cyber Security Strategy
 

Based on the report released by the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), Australian organisations across a range of sectors, including all levels of government, industry, political organisations, education, health, essential service providers, and operators of other critical infrastructure are currently being targeted by a sophisticated state-based cyber actor.

These attacks are mainly phishing mails, with malicious attachments or links.

As a construction company that values safety, Renfay immediately ran a security check to our system and emails. To protect our database, we made sure that our software is all up to date.

Anyone can be vulnerable to such crime, therefore it is heavily advised to do the following:

• Be very cautious when opening emails from unknown senders,
• Do not follow links found in a mail if you do not know the source,
• Never use your credentials on a web page you have opened following a link in a mail. Instead, open your browser and go to the page with your links/favourites.
• Even if a mail with an attachment comes from a colleague, but you were not expecting it, do not hesitate to check with the sender
• Ensure you use multifactor authentication to secure your internet access infrastructure and cloud-based platforms

Workplace Social Distancing 

Social distancing is the act of limiting contact with others to stop the spread of COVID-19. 

Base on the recent news and public advisory, Abiding the guidelines proved that it can aid in flattening the curve. Until there is no vaccine to fight the virus, it is imperative to follow social distancing protocols.

Here at Renfay, each staff were trained to wear PPE at all times. To mitigate the risk we established the importance of regular temperature check and travel history survey.
